This policy covers a lump sum in case:

  • You are hospitalized for three (3) or more consecutive nights in an accredited hospital or in-patient facility registered with the Uganda Ministry of Health.
  • Diagnosed with a critical illness: Stroke, Heart attack, Coronary Artery disease requiring surgery, Heart Valve replacement, Surgery of the Aorta, Valvotomy, Coronary Angioplasty and Stenting, Cancer (stage 1-4), Kidney failure & Major organ transplant.
  • Become totally incapacitated or lose the use of:
    • Two limbs above the wrist or ankle
    • Two feet
    • Two hands
    • Sight in 2 eyes
    • Speech – total & irrevocable loss of the ability to speak for a continuous period of six (6) months
    • Hearing – total & irrecoverable loss of hearing in both ears for a continuous period of six (6) months
    • Suffers from mental & cognitive impairment with medical evidence of irreversible organ damage
    • Death – in the unfortunate event that you pass on
