This policy covers a lump sum in case:
- You are hospitalized for three (3) or more consecutive nights in an accredited hospital or in-patient facility registered with the Uganda Ministry of Health.
- Diagnosed with a critical illness: Stroke, Heart attack, Coronary Artery disease requiring surgery, Heart Valve replacement, Surgery of the Aorta, Valvotomy, Coronary Angioplasty and Stenting, Cancer (stage 1-4), Kidney failure & Major organ transplant.
- Become totally incapacitated or lose the use of:
- Two limbs above the wrist or ankle
- Two feet
- Two hands
- Sight in 2 eyes
- Speech – total & irrevocable loss of the ability to speak for a continuous period of six (6) months
- Hearing – total & irrecoverable loss of hearing in both ears for a continuous period of six (6) months
- Suffers from mental & cognitive impairment with medical evidence of irreversible organ damage
- Death – in the unfortunate event that you pass on
